Yesterday, today and tomorrow around the country are collegiate conference cross country meets. The two big ones yesterday were the Pac-12 Meet where Oregon won the women's race and Colorado won the mens and the ACC Meet where North Carolina won the women's race and Syracuse won the mens. Today in Princeton will be the Heptagonal Meet and tomorrow will be the Big 10 Meet. Sunday is the New York City Marathon which is always one of the highlights on the running calendar for the year. And today around the state of Illinois are the Sectional Cross Country Meets.
The Sectional Cross Country Meets are the state qualifying meets for high school cross country runners in Illinois. For the first time ever, North Shore Country Day has both a girls and a boys team competing this morning. Their races are in Lisle Illinois at 10 am for the girls and 11 am for the boys.
