Girls Volleyball Regional Champs!

Halloween eve was especially exciting at North Shore with a crowd of over 100 in the Mac Gym to watch our Raiders take on the Thunder of Waldorf School in the IHSA Regional Championship game.

Waldorf had some bus problems and arrived about 30 minutes late. So the match did not start until almost 6:30 pm -- 30 minutes late. The Raiders had some initial jitters and Waldorf jumped to a 6-1 lead in the first set. But North Shore battled back to tie the match at 14 and then pull away to win the first set 25-19.

In the second set, North Shore found its rhythm and never looked back after taking an early lead and won the set, the match and the Regional title in strong fashion 25-9.

The Raiders move on to the Elgin (Westminster Christian) Sectional where they will play a 6:30 pm game likely against Newark High School on Tuesday November 4th. Below is the full schedule through the Super Sectional.

Because of the conflict on November 4th, we are moving our Fall Upper School Sport Celebration to Tuesday November 18th.
