Congrats to former Raider Pete Wentz '97 and the return this week of Fall Out Boy with the release of a new single "Heartbreak Feels So Good" and return to the Metro here in Chicago this past week. Their new album is out on March 24th.
Since its Saturday I thought I would share a memorable moment in Mac Gym history. The day Fall Out Boy filmed one of their early videos in the Mac Gym Office. It also happens to be one of my favorite Fall Out Boy songs. Its "Saturday"!
You might not recognize the gym office, but it appears several times in the first minute of the video. Fall Out Boy had not hit it big yet. This was 2003. It was not until 2005 that their hit "Sugar, We're Going Down" came out.
Enjoy on this Saturday Fall Out Boys' song "Saturday" and the fact our school played a minor role in the roots of this awesome Chicago Band.
