Conversation Techniques & 67 Years of Application

Today's post is dedicated to my aunt Suzanne. Yesterday she finished her 67th summer of working at Canobie Lake Park -- an amusement park in southern New Hampshire. She was a teacher and school administrator for a long time as well. but her passion in life has been working at Canobie Lake Park where she took over the novelty concession my grandparents managed before her dating back to the 1940's. Suzanne is the ultimate people person and is universally loved.
(OK, there is probably someone who doesn't love her, but they must have some issues.)

I always call her on Labor Day to congratulate her on making it through another season. Yesterday I was also wondering why Suzanne is so successful at connecting with others, and I saw this Ted Talk that Clarence Gaines posted. It is on making good conversation. The 10 tips here I certainly need work on (I post because maybe you do too) but Suzanne -- she mastered them years ago working every summer since 1949 at Canobie Lake Park.
