| North Shore neighbors and runners Bill Hague, David Miller and me running on the coldest day ever |
It has been difficult as I age to set a personal best. But I am always optimistic. Two years ago today, the low temperature was -15 F and the High was -2 F here in Chicago. We did not have school. But to mark the day as a new personal best, a few friends of mine and I went for a run and proved that the conditions would not stop us. We also found out that shortly after this picture was taken, iPhones stop working at temps this low.
A cold but memorable day.
