Once A Runner
With the holiday over the next couple of days, I am going to post just today on the 3rd of July and it will go over the options for the next couple of days. I will post again on Friday July 5th.
There are actually several options for the next two days.
Option #1 -- follow the plan as listed. Do a cross training or rest today on the 3rd and do a 35 Minute run at at FRESH effort followed by 6x100m strides on the 4th.
Option #2 -- (I will call this the Quenton Cassidy option) get the 35 Minute run at at FRESH effort followed by 6x100m strides done on the 3rd and enjoy the 4th.
Option #3 -- Do a 4th of July race. There are many out there. Most are 5 kilometers but many are 4 miles to signify the 4th of July. I would love to hear how it goes for you. If the race is on the 3rd, take the 4th off. If the race is on the 4th, take the 3rd off.
