Final Preparation For The School Year

This Monday is the last day when there are no official school events that involve North Shore athletes. Tuesday we get started with ImPact Concussion Testing for available Upper School athletes in the library and Wednesday we have the first practices of pre-season starting. We then are pretty much flat out until around Memorial Day. That is just under 300 days. 

This is a significant year for me as it is my last year as a North Shore Country Day School parent. Kathy and I have had a child in the school since the fall of 2000. So much has happened in that time. The world has changed. But that time has gone by so fast too. I would describe it as the fastest 17 years of my life. Ferris Bueller couldn't be more right. 

So this year, I am determined to take a look around once and a while. I definitely don't want to miss it.
