The Last Pre-9/11 Class

My mother found this picture of my sister Clare and me. She took this picture of us from the Statue of Liberty one summer day we believe in 1972.

September 11, 2014 is especially unique at a JK - 12th grade school like ours because the seniors at North Shore were in Junior Kindergarten on September 11, 2001. Some of these seniors are the last students to attend North Shore Country Day School on the days before 9/11. They were in their second week of school when that day occurred.

A lot has happened since that day but looking back now it still seems like just yesterday to me.
