Peace Steps

Just before Thanksgiving, I was invited to Perspectives Charter Schools "A Disciplined Life Expo". There are a lot of things that interest me about what Perspectives Charter School is doing that are interesting. They get the the "Iceberg Effect" that I wrote about last week. As much of their clientele is kids who come from difficult communities, they seem to understand that educating their students on character traits is as important as developing traditional skills.

In one of the classrooms where I attended a presentation, there was also Peace Steps on the board. As the holidays approach, I thought it was appropriate to post them in my hope that we all have a peaceful holiday.
